Ok so last week was my two week check up and I was having issues keeping everything down Water is the worst it hurts me so bad well she let me go on to puree hoping more solid would help me Bc some cases it does she told me to give purée a week and if still having issues call and they would order me barium swallow well I called today to do so Bc I'm vomiting all the time she wants me to come to er where I had surgery and stay for a couple days she's asked how much I drink and I'm lucky if I can finish a bottle of water that with throwing up as well so she said I'm just irritating it if it is narrow and I prob have swelling so she said they would prob keep me a few days to get me hydrated and sealing to go down anyone else have this issue I'm almost 4 weeks out

I had that same problem. For me, my gallbladder had deteriorated and I had a 100% blockage of the stoma. Mine was a severe case and I had to have my RNY completely redone. Symptoms started at 3 weeks. Revision done at exactly 4 weeks postop.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
