Welcome to the group I just started the process myself so I'm right there with you. This a good group here and support is awesome.

Welcome... can you schedule your surgery date to better fit in with your work schedule? If you can't I would not worry about it. I believe you can be out 6 wks on disabiltiy but then again it depends on your insurance and state etc.

Thank you, all. Well that was last night. Today I got the call and I'm scheduled for Nov 13th. How quickly things turn around. @BBdoodle, that's what I'm trying to do. They'll just have to deal. I have to put myself and my health first for once.
