Sudden Period 6 Days After Surgery?

My apologies to the male members. Question for the ladies:

So, yesterday I was six days post-op. With no warning, I suddenly started bleeding, very heavily. My cycle is usually the 15th. Anyone experienced this?? Was thinking it could be all the heparin shots, perhaps? It continued throughout the night and this morning. Just wondering if there is any cause for alarm...

Very normal! Happened to me too... They were giving me blood thinner shots so that brings it in full force.
