  1. You are right! Plus I am having LASIK next month. Gonna be a new woman when he gets back!!!
  2. Thank you to you and your father as well. Military family rarely gets the appreciation they deserve. So happy that he came back to you safe & sound.
  3. Am kind of flying solo, as I have been waiting on insurance approval/surgery date. I was told I wouldn't get a date until around November but randomly got scheduled for September 24 (no complaining here!!). I don't see my doctor until August 21, and I need advice on what to eat now! What plan did y'all follow at this stage in the game? I feel like I want to et everything in the world but super guilty because I want to prepare and lose about 10-15 lbs before surgery. Help!!!
  4. Hi, y'all!! My name is Liz, I am 8 days from being 29, and 58 days from my RNY date!! I have been planning to do this surgery for three years, and cancelled the process twice. I am scared and nervous and anxious....but so excited!! I am currently 330lbs. What makes my story a little different is that my story different is that I am an army wife preparing to send my husband on a deployment. He will be gone to training when I have my surgery, gone for most of the healing, and will deploy three months after my procedure. I am hoping to get a lot of advice and support from this forum, and I look forward to sharing your journey as well!!
