  1. Tomorrow is my last day of real food. I plan on having some sushi for my last meal
  2. I have done everything I think i could have done to mentally prepare myself for surgery. Now it comes time to prepare my house and pantry! So my question is what did you find most convient during your first few weeks? What foods (well food items...jello..shakes..ect) did you feel helped you the most. Did you find a shake that tastes amazing? Water mix ins? Anything you can reccomend..also what did you take to the hospital with you? Thabk you in advance! Surgery next friday
  3. After surgery your stomach is like a brand new baby stomach. Feel free to try something else, not so liquid and you will be puking and in pain. You have to ease back into eating, liquids, then full liquids, the soft food, and by six months you should be eating small healthy well chewed meals. Clearly you have no been to any sort of pre op anything. They explain all of this at your nutrition classes.
  4. Its been 5 years ago in the small picture of me i posted, and after my baby i blew up as well and all in my tummy. People kept asking if i was pregnant way after my son was born. I was 175 pre baby, 215 after baby, and 235 now. My stomach will look terrible when i loose the weight
  5. But to add! Your outfit is way cute
  6. Its almost like our minds say you look good! Then you see yourself in a picture and hello reality check. The camera adds 10 lbs right lol? The picture I posted ended up facebook One of those terrble pictures that people tag you in and you quickly untag yourself hahaha!
  7. I look at this picture and I use to think I was Gigantic! This was my senior year of highschool, around 5 years ago. I was about 170 The most unflattering picture ive ever taken! (october of 2011) Taken just a few weeks ago. I work at old navy and the manager insists that we all take pictures in our new items to post on facebook. I hate it. BUt this picture didnt turn out too bad.
  8. Dont laugh lol, It was a 80s costume party lol. Anyways this was last year, i was 225-230.. Now current weight 235. And the doctor just submitted to my insurance Yay!

  12. I only bought a little bit. My surgeon does not recommend Protein drinks, they set you up on a meal plan and things that are good to eat, then if your not doing well enough that way, then they start to add supplements. But I bought ISO pure unflavored protein power, in hopes that i can mix it with whatever i am drinking at the time.
  13. I have a bunch of pre surgery requirements that have to be done, different blood work, a upper endoscopy, meet with a psychiatrist and a nutritionist, and some even requite a liquid diet two weeks before surgery, luckily mine does not But you have to do all that stuff before they will even schedule you for surgery.
  14. Oh and psych went great today!
