  3. I am from Vermont...it is so beautiful there for winter activities. Flipping cold...but beautiful. I have 2 on my goal list. 100 lbs down...going horseback riding. That one is accomplished!! 200 lbs down I want to go to Universal and ride all the rides I couldn't with being over 400 lbs.
  4. I am almost 6 weeks out and I honestly think on a regular basis..."What the hell did I do to myself?" I have been trying to find ways to make healthy versions of "junk food" when you are able to eat "real food" go on skinnytaste.com. I have found some great recipes and it is making it a little bit easier.
  5. naw, its been 3 weeks. I have been feeling pretty good. Surgeon wants me exercising everyday (blech!) you will get there hon.

  7. I am 3 weeks post op today. All I do honestly is sit on my butt answering phone calls (I work for US Airways in reservations). I don't know if it is the amping up the workouts or actually being at work but I am exhausted. New shift is 5pm to 1:30 am. Pray for me that I can survive this.

  9. That is awesome! I started dating my bf almost a year ago and weighed 15 lbs more than him. I started dieting pre-surgery, he started dieting and exercising and started losing weight super quick (men suck like that, lol) and I finally have lost more than him. I haven't ever told him my weight and I won't until I get below 300 lbs.
  10. I am 3 weeks out today. I think I may be the exception when it comes to food because I am able to keep most things down. Try to keep your chin up. My nutrionist said keep everything you put in your body below 10g of fat and 10g of sugar. No fried foods, stay away from white carbs, stuff like that. I haven't attempted any breads except for Missions low carb tortilla to make a pizza they have on this website. I am able to sleep on my stomach again. It took about 2 weeks to be able to do that, and I am a little sore when I wake up. You won't feel hungry for a while. Don't eat until you feel full because then you eating too much. Just eat until you feel satisfied. And great job with the walking!
  11. We are here darlin' and plentiful. This is a wonderful and supportive group of people. Welcome!
  12. It does depend on what your starting weight was. I started out VERY overweight (I hate the term morbidly obese)...I am 3 weeks out and have lost about 27 lbs since the morning of surgery. Usually (not always) the heavier you are the more you lose. Don't get down on yourself.
  13. Its going to be wonderful! Good luck!
  14. mmm....I want to buy that PB2 stuff...my boyfriend would love the reeses thing. He is a reeses addict, lol
  15. I honesty would have to look at My Fitness Pal to remember what I ate...but I know nothing was that bad. I had about 2 oz of cheeseburger, no bun. unsweetened tea wth splenda, and about 5 oz of watermelon. OMG! I was so scared. Tried a bite, waited 5 minutes and continued to enjoy. I am 3 weeks out and haven't had any dumping from what I have eaten. Only had issues with chicken twice (I was stupid for not chewing well enough and swallowing too big a bite) I do get worried that I am having too easy of a time of it, but I am not going outside of what my nutrionist says is allowed out of fear. Had my 3 week appointment and was told I am doing great. I am keeping my calories between 500 and 700 and just started going to the gym instead of mall walking. But I wanted the fried chicken. I live in NC and the food in my area is delicious and terrible for you. I would potentially kill for an Arby's Beef n' Cheedar, lol.
  16. That is amazing!!! Congrats Don. I am anxiously waiting for tomorrow so I can do my weekly weigh in. What are you doing for exercise?
  17. I was having a problem with Water. Made me sick to my pouch, lol. I drink a bunch of crystal light....sip sip sip darling as much as you can. It's hard but take 2 sips, put down your drink and wait a bit then sip some more. Good luck!
