Oh no sorry to hear hope it starts getting easier... Tuesday ill be two weeks out I feel awesome I haven't weighed myself waiting until appt on 8th but I was down 16lbs a week out and I'm already starting to feel it in my clothes so ready to start puréed stage still on liquids having a horrible time getting all fluids in keep me updated how Ur feeling

I am having a hard time getting all the fluids and protein in as well. I guess its normal at our stage. I an on phase 1 and phase 2 but u cab have cottage cheese which seems to do pretty good. don't have to blend it either just chew. And I found a cream of chicken with mushroom soup from Campbell's that is really good. and today became addicted to popcicles. I am glad to hear you are feeling great. today started a new pain for me. so debilitating I want to pass out from and my pain meds surgeon gave me loratab doesn't phase it. I think I have a cyst on my ovary bursting or something. never happened before but will go to doctor if not better by morning. I go Tuesday for my one week post op

Hi All, ... Don't let the perky voice fool you... This has been ONE ORDEAL I never want to repeat EVER! Well, actually, it was already revised!

Home now 3 days.. Spent 5 days in ICU. I'm tired, ache like I was beat up, want a very large cold 'anything!' Food makes me nauseated... Crushing pills & taking with other foods is gross!!

Why do we think our children or pets won't notice when we sneak medicine into their foods and we are utterly repulsed by its taste?????

This is going to be a long slow recovery..... I'm learning more from my daughter who was there & spoke to the surgeons and other RN'S... while. I was out. NOT an encouraging story. VERY scary. They thought for a time that I may not make it. Now I understand why I hurt the way I do!

I'm happy others proceeded with successful surgeries, and are on their path to speedy recoveries... I'm just a bit behind, but I will catch up!

Going to attempt to sleep in my bed tonight and not sitting up in a caair!

Quick trip into our Urgent Care today revealed a slight fever, elevated white blood count, and then an I.V. dose of antibiotics. Going for a follow up tomorrow again.

I see my surgeon today for my week follow up. Doubt the staples will come out, but maybe less restrictions?

Post-op 18 day Laparoscopic / 15 days post-op revision......

Wt loss: 23#.

when I saw my PCP tho their day she congratulated me for doing the surgery, and for the wt loss right now. I'm only 5'0" and have not been under 200 # since 2008.

That day I was (totally honest!) 199.9!
