Once We're Able To Eat Reg...heres A Protein Filled Breakfast!

Recommended Posts

Ok so what I did was instead of ham was I used beef bologna (my favorite) and mixed the egg with scallions' date=' black pepper and some shredded cheddar cheese for added Protein. I had to cook it for 20 minutes on 375° for it to be fully solid though, not 10. Here's a pic of what I ended up with (with 2 bites taken out already lol)

Oh and I added a little bit of my "cheesy shrimp" leftovers to it also

How did it taste? :)

Pretty good. Probably wouldn't do the scallions again, maybe onions. Thinking of adding mushrooms next time, possibly bacon too since I can eat it

Omg. It has been rough lol. At first anything and everything I ate gave me gas and abdominal pain. Now, with the help of milk of mag (and bm lol) I can drink up without too much problem. I just feel so limited. But I can manage eddy's no sugar added Popsicles so that has been my go to when I just don't want Water, broth, etc. Also, I can tolerate Naked juices, I Water it a bit down with water but it's oh so yummy. But that's only as a treat.

Haven't had a hard time watching people eat. (just came back from treating my mom and cousin to pizza). But I do feel like I want to chew. And gosh I miss soda, although that's one thing I know I wont even try to play with anytime soon.

Otherwise I'm just waiting until Monday impatiently for my mushy food. I'm going to get purée crazy lol.

Ikr. It was hard for me ad first because of the smells but that has gotten really better. I can't wait for puréed food I hope I make it taste like something. I am ready to chew also. I don't have a craving for anything right now because I think I am to scared to eat. I don't want to hurt or leak and stuff. When I sip now it is only a few times. I love to watch people eat because it makes me strong and it doesn't bother me. I just made Cookies for the kids for snack to day. My baby said mommy you want one and I said no baby mommy can't. I got the will power. I liked that recipe you put up can you puréed that too. I have no clue what we are going to do for our anniversary next month because going out is going to be a no no.

Well I'm still on liquids myself. At least until Thursday. I never thought I would look forward to puréed foods so much in my life

Hilarious! I still have a week and a half to go and all I can think of is Refried Beans and Mashed Patatos! Oh and scrambled eggs!

Hi Nicki,

I begged for eggs for weeks, turned out its the one thing I can't stomach. I tried boiled, scrambled and poached. No Luck. :(. So I'm not saying anything about pizza. If I can't eat it in the future i might die.

Kiwi,

You and me both. I know that it's not something healthy or anything that we should be indulging in but I'm pretty sure that if we have a slice once in a blue it wouldn't kill us. I live in NYC so like every block or so has a pizzeria. Lol. No fun.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
