I Am New

My name is Kelly. My husband is going to have Gastric Bypass done. We went to see the doctor and dietitian. We are waiting on a surgery date then going to see the Pre Op Appt. I am going to follow diets with him. I am not having the surgery.

Are you also over weight? That is great you are going to help him. I wish I had that support.

Yes I am over weight. I was 124lbs for a long time. That is my longest life ideal weight. Now I am 155lbs now. I don't want to be big.

Good for you Kelly - support is such an important part of the journey. Both of you are going to be amazed at all of the positive things that are coming your way!!

I wish i was 155 lbs lol. But good luck to your husband :) and to you as well....you are no where near being obese but i wish you luck!!

Support from a spouse makes a world of difference!
