Does anyone out there have Aetna? I have a BMI of 39.4, but still waiting to see if I have sleep apnea. I've completed all other requirements for surgery. Does anyone else have Aetna? Were you able to get approved? So frustrated and ready to go! Treatment shouldn't be dictated by my insurance, it should be dictated by a doctor! Grrrr!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I called today and they just said pending and reminded me that they have 15 days to reply bariatric surgery approvals. I am worried my 10/29 date will be pushed back a week or two. The Dr.'s office said if no response by Friday we will have to postpone.

Hopefully you will get your response by then! Wow my doctor would not set a date until the received the letter off approval from insurance I got it faxed to them that's how I ended up getting my date.

I would keep calling and let them know you already have a set date apply some pressure!

On Friday, I will be waiting for one month with nothing.. Totally bumming out....

Officially I've been working on this since June/July. I'm tired, I just want to get my approval and prepare for surgery.

Trust me I know how you feel!!! I started in May and just got approved on Tuesday! Yours is coming!!!! Keep at it!!
