Has anyone had a lot gas after drinking any type of protein shake i.e. muscle milk, GNC total lean, and isopure and no type of gas medication worked.

Thank you for this post. I was nervous about not sleeping on my bed but the recliner. I had no choice but to sleep my bed because my ankles were swelling really bad. I used my body pillow and ace bandages around my stomach to sleep on my side

Did anyone have to wear a abdominal bindef

I'm glad your surgery went well and I know about the pain...I still can't sleep in my bed yet. My recliner has been a lifesaver.

Has anyone had swollen ankles after surgery? My surgeon didn't want me back on my high blood pressure medication. What did you take to relieve the swelling in the ankles?

Can anyone recommend a good gas pill?

Congrats..I just came out the hospital today and I have a lot of gas..this part is not so fun

Mine was yesterday too and I just had my swallow test. The stuff they make you swallow is gross! ???? and I'm also waiting for a liquid tray...I didn't get a good night sleep because the gas was in my back all night and it's still there. I did get up and walk so that's awesome! I love the hospital staff and I just meet a nurse that is two years post op gastric bypass..she said get ready to start looking at magazines for new vloyhrd

You can do this!! We are doing this together since we both have the same surgery date.

My is not that bad except for me having to do a quick procedure before I do the surgery...I can't wait to get back on the pre op diet..this "nothing I can't eat for two days" is not working

Can anyone tell me what kind of vitamins they took/taking post op? I just got my approval and my surgery is schedule for Oct. 16th and I want to be prepared when I come home from the hospital. All response are appreciated!

You might hear something on Monday or Tuesday. My surgeon's office sent my paperwork in two pieces, the paperwork requesting the surgery (Sept. 25) and clinicals on Sept. 26th.

When did your surgeon submit your paperwork?

My paperwork was submitted on Sept. 25 and approved on Oct. 4th (7 business days)
