Went today and bought 3 comfortable gowns and light and diet juices, cream soups, sf jello, and a bowl with screw on lid. I figure one can cream soup will probably last a couple of days lol

Dont get discouraged. It has not been easy.(you know my pain) I hv a bigger gut and my body is just tearing it up. I hv measured 74 oz of water a day. Plus my protein drinks is low carb low sugar. We can do it!!!

Oh yeah, my whey powder is super low cal and sugar, high protein... At least compared to what I've found.

Using two different ones, see attached:

Day 7 of this liquid diet thang .Ugh I'm so up and down I feel like a human roll-a-coater lol. Missed my protein yesterday but back on it today. I too drink the premier brand but I think I'm going to try the unflavored' date=' kind an mix it with my crystal lite in order to get a little more in at a time. What do y'all think?[/quote']

Hi im day 5 of liquid diet, I too drink the premier protein. I put the unflavored in my oatmeal n crystal light.

Could not figure out to post. Had to have my son show me... Lol

Nov 13 for me. Day 5 of pre-op. it is difficult but I have the end goal in sight. Good luck all you Nov sleevers!

Had surgery yesterday. It was a success. I was very sore' date=' nauseous, and a little gassy. I walked a couple of times. That made me feel better each time. I also took in my water and protein. Not bad at all. My sleeve didn't like cold water or protein.

Today, I feel much better. Just sore in one spot. I will definitely do more walking today. Overall, I feel pretty good.[/quote']

Glad you're doing ok!!!! One day at a time

Hi there! My surgeon is Dr. Guske

I am in your area Lady Scorpio. I am being sleeved on November 11. Dr. Rantis is the surgeon. Who is yours? Sent from my iPad using VST

Hi Tignet! My surgeon is Dr. Guske...I start my liquid prep on the day of your surgery....let's stay in touch...hugs!!

11/8 is going to be here before I know. I'm so afraid that I will regret this. Mainly because of what I think society feels about having the surgery. I'm afraid I still will want to eat crappy food in 2 years from now. My mind is going crazy. I don't want to feel ashamed for having the surgery but I already feel it a little. watch the biggest loser and I feel that somehow I should be able to. I've done it twice in the past with exercise and diet but I just don't have it in me. I'm obviously going through with it but just trying to work it all out in my head still. Vent over.

Please keep in mind that most people don't have the ability to leave there jobs for months on end to be on a TV show, and as inspiring as that show can be, even some of their contestants gain the weight back... I've done it before with diet and exercise too. I lost 76 pounds and then I gained it back and 11 more.... This surgery is a tool to help us in our journey to health. Don't feel guilty for choosing to make a better life for yourself, if you insist of feeling guilty do it over not doing it sooner! :) But I still think you shouldn't feel guilty for either. This site is great for support and if you need some extra, I hope you accept and join our facebook group, we'll hold you up when you feel like you can't do it yourself.

At the hospital now.. Only a couple of hours till its my time...

Are you feeling ready? I'm researching and shopping and arranging. It's like having another baby' date=' but without the midnight screaming and diapers (I hope). Are you looking for a surgery bud, because I could use one.[/quote']

I feel like a squirrel gathering nuts for the winter. I have been planning and shopping like a crazy person. I still don't feel like I have enough stored. My surgery is 11/19 and starting my pre-op diet today.
