I've been wanting to ask about soups. Can you keep eating soups later on? How does that work with the no drinking rule before or after eating?

It is probably a bad thing that I can't bring myself to write broth on my shopping list. Ick.

What is on your shopping list to get ready for the surgery? I'm working on making mine so I can go this weekend. I ordered Unjury chicken broth and choc. splendor.

I hear it depends on genetics, how long you were at your weight, etc. I'm already thinking mine will be pretty bad. I'm already in bad shape without losing weight with my "second stomach". Ick. But I don't care. Hopefully I can save up and have that taken care of when I lose the weight. Some insurance companies will cover the panus? if it is causing problems like rashes, etc.

This is my dr. and I've been looking at it a lot. I wonder if SF Carnation Instant Breakfast is supposed to be on clear food stage? It seems like a few things are listed more than once in a stage. I need to retype it,,,haha. I made a calendar for my stages and listed what is in the stage underneath the calendar.

Great. Just what I want to hear about my office! How was the surgery, recovery, etc. for you? I can't believe they billed that much to the ins. company. I'm self pay and it is "just" $11725 total not including pre op testing. I really haven't had any trouble getting my "advocate" and no problems with the office staff so far. How did you do being outpatient?

I had a pulmonary function capacity test and EKG already. I guess I'll have to wait and see on Monday. I hate waiting. I don't know how long it will take for them to get me the CPAP and then how long I'll have to use it before the surgery. They got me the home sleep apnea study pretty fast.

Hi, I tested positive for sleep apnea and they're making me get a machine to use before the surgery and possible after/during. I'm not sure?? I wonder how it will change my date. I had it tentatively scheduled for November 4th. My coordinator isn't in today and no one else can help me. Boo!! The lady that called me didn't know anything about it. Anyone else run into this? Thanks! April

Wow! What great prices compared to US! You have to have a passport to drive over, right? Sorry for that stupid question! What is the wait time for a surgery date?

My husband is very supportive also. My parents have never liked the idea of it. I've talked about it a lot through the years. My mom is a yoyo weight watcher. I have been in the past too.

I understand. The first thing my MIL said was "you don't think you can do this without the surgery?" Well, no. Then I sent a link to my dad from Dr. Oz and he didn't reply. He told my sister that I've already proved that I can lose weight without it when I have my mind set. But what does that really matter? That means with this tool I should be able to do even better. I still haven't told my parents that I'm actually having it though.
