I'm Hungry!

This is week 2 of post op and I feel like I'm starving! Plus all of my old food cravings are returning! How did you guys get through this phase?!

I'm 7 days out from my sleeve....lucky I'm not experiencing the food cravings thank God but my mouth is always dry and I'm always thirsty. I've been doing pretth good about getting the Protein in (except today) but I just don't have room for the recommended 64 oz of Water. Do u have that problem?

i drank a lot of broth, Soup and shakes. Small portions but very frequently.

I haven't tried the broth yet but I love my new direction shakes and I found a new love for cream of potato soup....lol

Sure do! I have yet to get in all of my Protein or water! The first week I thought I would never want to eat again. But this second week has proven otherwise lol. I have visions of all my fav foods dancing in my head

I'll try that. I've just been eating 3 times a day with maybe 2 Protein shakes...sometimes less, and some Water.

I'm on my 6th day of my 2-week liquid post op diet....and I want pizza!!! Watching TV with all the bad food commercials is, quite frankly self sabotage. I think once I get back to work, next week, it may be a bit better. But I hear you....sometimes I "think" I feel hungry too. And I want to chew!!!

Are you taking an antacid or PPI? I had hunger feeling constantly in the first weeks. It was acid. Prilosec took care of it.

I feel the same way! How often can we drink Protein? All food is looking great to me! I am also 6 days post surgery! I did have 2 oz. sugar free Jello twice today!
