Wow i have so many mixed emotions right now i wanna scream, cry, laugh all of the above ....lol...my isurance coordinator emailed me yesterday telling me she was gonna submit my info to insurance and that we should know by tuesday next week but she just emailed me saying that i got Approved and am all set and ready for the 10th yiiiiikes it's feeling sooo real NOW .. =)....soooo Nervioooous!

So happy to hear everyones stories. I'm waiting for initial doc appt. Hopefully they'll call monday. Got ins approval 9-26-13. I'm so excited and nervous. Psycheval and nutrition counseling done. Now waiting on doctor.

Had my surgery on 9/25/13. Im a doing pretty good. First day rough feels like i was hit by an 18 wheeler. Each day gets better. The best thing you can do for yourself is to walk walk and walk. This gets everything functioning again and take as many sips of fluid as you can. Sugarfree. If u follow this i promise it will get you through those first few rough days. Any questions just ask. I dont mind sharing my experience. Glad we are here for each other.

I will get the call from the hospital tomorrow with the time to show up on Tuesday. I will let everyone know as soon as I hear!!!!!

Congrats! I just got the call from dr office. 1st appt with dr jones on 10-16-13. Then hopefully a date!

Speedy recovery

Went to my last appt to sign papers & ws supposed to confirm my date...however it didn't happen...surgery scheduler is supposed to call me within 2 business days to give egd date & surgery date.....disappointed because I feel so close bt also so far ...jus venting thank you for allowing me to do so...
