October Sleevers - Who else

I got my date (October 15th) and my insurance approval. I'm excited and nervous. Who else is being sleeved in October?

Thank you!!! So far so good!!! Not too many complaints. I was really sore but the meds seems to help...

Hope all went well with the first group. I'm officially sleeved. I just got home. I feeling well aside from the soreness and little pain the meds are definitely working.

October 10 Congratulations

Yay! October 22 for me!!

Well I hope everyone is doing wonderful!! I'm sleeved day two right now. I'm not going home until Friday, and right now I'm trying to drink about 150ml a hour. Not to bad. Had some bad dry heaves last night, but I think it was from being put under. My doctors are amazing! My husband has been great been here the whole time! Good luck to the rest of you this week. Oh and bring Chapstick!!

Hi everyone I am an October 21 is my surgery date I have my physical oct 8 very nervous and excited

I who'll be sleeved Oct. 22 and have my pre-op testing Oct. 10. I'm waiting to see how many, if any, days I will be on clear liquid.

That sounds like a good idea!! I would love to take off a month to be sure I don't screw anything up. but we'll see. I know exactly what you're saying when you talk about no pee breaks and no water! We've been having a lot of those days lately. Gotta love September! ;-)

I'm a nurse too! My sleeve is 10/15 in Boston

- my surgeon says 4-6weeks, mostly because I'm going to have a weight restriction for 6 weeks... If I'm doing stellar, he might let me go back at 4 though. I'm kinda happy for the extra time off though, it's tough to take care of others when you are not feeling 100% yourself!

Congrats! Got my chap stick and on my 1000 Calorie diet my doctor don't do all liquid diet.

Same here- it's 1000 calories /day, consisting if 3 high protein meal replacements and 1 healthy meal. I get a few free foods like broth and non- starchy vegetables too, helps with cravings :)

Let's do this! I'm getting sleeved at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Philadelphia.
