I was also sleeved on 10/1. Besides feeling sore and minimal pain when I sit down or stand up I'm doing well. Just got home today.

Hope all went well with the first group. I'm officially sleeved. I just got home. I feeling well aside from the soreness and little pain the meds are definitely working.

I'm doing well. just got home too! A little sore and a little pain. Drinking liquids every 20 mins.

I have been feeling the same way. But I know this is the right choice. I'm ready to get my life back.

I still can't believe that the day is finally approaching.

I'm set for 10/1. I'm very excited and nervous also. I love this site!! It's a great way to get support and be in touch with others that are going through the same thing.

Countdown 23 days till our surgery!! So excited too!! Sometimes I still can't believe that I'm doing this. I can't wait to be able shop for regular sized clothes.

I quit smoking 3 weeks ago right after I found out my sleeve was approved. I went Cold turkey. I'm not gonna lie it was hard the first few days bcuz I was still craving it. But I knew I had to and didn't want to put myself at risk for the surgery.

My surgery is scheduled for Oct 1st. Will be sleeved at Columbia-Presbyterian N.Y.
