Ah! I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight! I have to be at the hospital at 10 tomorrow.

I only slept about 3 hours before my surgery. You'll sleep there. How did it go?

I'm on the 28th! 9am I have to be there. Not drinking Water is gonna suck. I'm going to give it all I got and then surrender to this process. I know it's the right thing to do. I want my energy and life back.

I hope all is well!

Hi guys! My surgery went very well! No complications at all. I'm still in the hospital, I got up last night to walk, I must say, it wasn't easy. I feel that the surgery went a lot better than the recovery. I'm in so much pain when i take a deep breath or when I try to get up! Ouch! And I've been getting pretty nauseous. I haven't been allowed any liquid yet apart from ice, which doesn't really help the nausea. Whatever little movement I make, I get nauseous. How are you doing CoraLD77?

Oh and one more thing, I'm starving! Maybe it's because I haven't had anything yet in over 24hr hours, but i feel almost like my stomach is intact and asking for food! :-S

My surgery went really well, I've been up walking lots and I'm not overly sore except for a bit of gas. Definitely not hungry! I've had lots of ice and a few sips of Water. No nausea here at all.

I had my sleeve yesterday at 10am in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico with dr Alverez. I had very little pain on left side and no gas pains yet. Knock on wood!! It almost seems so surreal.... Surely it can't be this easy.

Thanks. Today, I actually feel worse than I did yesterday. I was told that it's because I may still have had some anesthesia wearing off slowly yesterday. I might stay in the hospital a day or 2 more than anticipated... I just hate the nausea, it's one of the worst... :-(

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
