Even with my period I'm stalled. Normally (pre-op) I would go up 3-4 lbs. But my stall is for real, so it won't even go up during my period. I'm on now and this is the first time I haven't gained weight during my period.

I officially have the super stall!

Yea I'm only 3 weeks (not even) post op and I'm at a stall and then I stepped on the scale it said i gained two lbs. it has always been common for me to go up a couple lbs during my period though so I'm hoping this is just what it is. Trying not to get discouraged ????

Don't get discouraged. I've told my story so many times to people because I have the super stall going on. Been sleeved 9 weeks with 7 of those in a stall. Following all the directions given by my Nut and Dr.

It's a running joke because I'm now smaller (size) at this weight than I was when I weighed 50 lbs less. I'm starting to consider running off to the circus because there is no way a woman my height and weight should be in such a small size.

The 3 week stall is super common. And gaining with TOM and/or stalling is common too. Don't worry! I always gained a few lbs and/or stalled during TOM...

Do you know how long the stall lasts or is it different for everyone at 3 weeks?

It's different for everybody. I had several Along the way. The first few really upset me then I realized how much my body was actually changing during these stalls. Your body's cells have to re-align and re-adjust after weight changes so it makes sense really. I know I had one stall that liked to drove me crazy that lasted 3 weeks or so but in that time frame my pants got so loose I had to go buy smaller ones. So I stopped thinking of those periods as stalls and realized they were really just adjustment periods my body needed.

Always gained 3 lbs during that time. I stalled right after my surgery, I wasn't getting enough calories in.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
