reaching weightloss goals

Recommended Posts

When I started my surgery my first goal was to get below my lowest weight I could achieve on my own which was 230. After that my goal was to weigh less then my husband 226. Then my goal was to be in Onederland. Once I made it there my goal was to weigh less than my older sister who was always the thin one 185 . Today I have reached my 5th goal 177 pounds. this is the weight I was when I got married ten years ago. My next goal is to get to 150 pounds which is the median range for my height 5'6'' and body frame size of large. So happy with my sleeve.this surgery is awesome. Life is good :)

Congrats! That is awesome! I'm thinking of doing 5-6 mini goals, too!

I have made similar "milestone" goals. Definitely want to weigh what I did when I got married, and to weigh what I did when I met my husband, then to weigh less than him. Another one on my list is to weigh what is says on my drivers license! LOL

Congratulations! You've done so well achieving your goals....you inspire me to work hard to achieve mine!

Congrats! I had mini goals that included each new digit on the way down so 16, 15, etc. and also percentage of body weight lost. 10%, 20% etc. Here's a calculator for that:

http://www.fitwatch.com/qkcalc/calculate-weight-loss-percentage.html

I've been at goal with a 46.85% loss of my body weight for 17 months. And my weight begins with 13!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
