Anyone get that feeling of needing to burp but can't? I hate that! Can't wait to feel completely normal again. As far as drinking sippy cups works wonders! It controls the amount of fluids you take in. I'm learning that slowing things down is the key. Plus taking in smaller portions. That's what the challenge is. Now it's time to get more active. I still get tired but I'm trying to do more. I hope that everyone is doing well. Good luck to all of the pre-ops. It will be here before you know it.

Congrats!! I'm in the same boat. 8 days post op, 17lbs down. We're on our way :)

Way to go. I'm excited to start more activities and new food ideas.

Hello Im 9 days past surgery 16 pounds lost inthe two weeks liquid diet, 15.5 as of today for a total of 31.5 pounds inthree weeks

Congratulations to those who are losing weight. I haven't weighed since my pre-op appointment. I need to weigh in now.

Congrats! How are u feeling?

Did anyone have a drain installed for several days post op?

I had a drain for a couple of days, but they removed it when I was discharged from the hospital. I am 3 days post op, clear liquids for a week, then a week of full liquids. Today, I was about 1/2 water and 1/2 clear liquid protein. Tomorrow I will try to get more protein in.

I lost 15 pounds after my first week too! Isn't that awesome! It's so nice to finally see the scale going down! :D Also, I'm about a week and half out...does anyone else have an itchy belly? My incisions are healing well but my belly is itching me to death!

Omg mine itches like crazy! No idea what's up with that.

Mine also itch. Mostly around where the bandages have been. I took my bandages off today(11 days post op) all except for the incision where the drain was so hopefully it will get better. Itchy, itchy! Lol

I am 10 days post op and mine's are itching, especially the incision on my right side.

I didn't have a drain or bandages. I was glued lol

Yup, glue here too. It's not itching where the incisions are either but around them.
