I think mine is longer than 2 weeks' date=' I went to an appointment with my nutritionist on the 10th (1 month post op) and she advanced me to soft/pureed, I just gotta get better at measuring and weighing my foods! I go back Monday for my second check-up (5 wks. 5 days) with the doc., can't wait to see how he thinks I'm doing![/quote']

I need to get better at that too and also slowing down when I'm eating, I'm having a problem with that... This is definitely a learning experience with a lot of trial and error.

Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone else is having acid reflux/heartburn since having surgery? I did not experience this until after having the surgery. Anyone have any advice' date=' I'm living on Prevacid AC now :([/quote']

YES!! I had to start on Prilosec. It doesn't happen everyday, but it's really annoying.

I too had reflux before surgery and I still have it! Prilosec is my friend!!!

I was sleeved on sept 6. My starting weight was 360 and I was 335 the day of surgery. I am 320 today. My clothes fit better and I feel better, but I am wondering if I am losing weight quickly enough. I thought it would come off a little faster than it is. Is anyone else having the same problem? How is everyone else dealing with this? Any advice would be great.

I have read over and over to just keep on the diet plan and you will lose weight. From last week to this week I lost a pound......but I lost another inch in my waist and in my hips too. Also lost a half inch off my chest too. I think you should do your measurements and weight once a week :)

I think my problem is my fluid intake. I am barely getting 40 oz in per day. It kills me to get that...will shoot for 64 today

Good for you! Also, if you're not pooing regularly take a daily laxative.

I add Raw Fiber to my protein shakes for that lol

It's been 1 week now and I haven't had a BM! I've taken MOM for the past 2 days plus a stool softener and nothing yet! I was pretty regular up until this. I'm 3.5 weeks postop. I don't feel constipated or bloated. And I hate taking the MOM and stool softener though because they make me almost vomit! Yuck! I don't know what to do. I have some fiber that I could add to a shake, but per my NUT, I'm trying to get my protein from my food and not shakes now. I guess if nothing happens soon I'll have to get an enima.
