Any other July 1st sleevers home?

Recommended Posts

I went to my post op appointment today. She said I was right on target so I will stop fretting and embrace my slower weight loss. At 51 I am thrilled at the point for my continued losses.....perhaps my skin will take note and slow the sagging process down too...lol.

Glad to see all are doing so well. Keep pushing cuz there's no going back!!! Thank goodness. .

Sleeved on 7/1 down 35 lbs excited but I did have a 2 week stall. I've been working out for the past two weeks.

I have stalled for two weeks now...frustrating but also know it will pass. I am total down 45 but still only 22 since 7/1 surgery : (

Sleeved on 7-24 and down 26 lbs. Apparently I've hit my first stall because I haven't lost anything in a week. So frustrating because I'm doing everything right. I guess it's good that I can't go have that sympathy binge that used to happen every time I'd get discouraged. I knw this happens but I was hoping it wouldn't have happened this soon :(

I finally after two weeks moved 6 ounces I will take that. I for one struggle with Water intake. I downloaded app that goes off every hour telling me to drink up. That has helped plus walking two miles a day...I know water is my issue. Congrats on your 26 lbs down since sleeved...that my friend is fantastic!!!

Thanks guys :) I guess there's nothing to do but wait. That app sounds like something I could use to because while I'm getting in my liquids, I should probably try and step it up a little. :)

I lost 22lbs in the first 1.5 weeks and nothing since. I was literally in a stall for almost 4 weeks! Just lost 5lbs from yesterday till this morning! The only thing I can really say I changed, is I replaced Breakfast with a shake. So maybe the up in Protein helped? Maybe it was coincidence? All I know is if you follow the plan, you WILL lose!

I was sleeved on July 30th. I am still on Clear Liquids until the 13th. I have lost 7 lbs since surgery but I don't know if part of that is swelling or what. I'm just glad to be losing.

I have noticed a little change in movement. I think it is the Protein.

Tells you I never think to drink here it is almost 4 and I haven't drank since noon...and I wonder why I stalled..yes I know! My Water alarm even went off I guess I ignored it..stupid me got to push the water. I am drinking while I type...

Great weight loss. You will be off liquids before you know it!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
