10 days post-op--shouldn't I be dropping pounds everyday?

I am so glad you brought this up and so happy to read all the responses and encouragements. I will be 3weeks post op on 6/26/13 and lost only 10 lbs on my 2nd week. I weigh myself only once a week and I'm not impressed with my numbers. I'm happy cos that's 10lbs I wouldn't have lost if I wasn't sleeved but I guess I expected more. Thanks all for the words of encouragements.

Ditto. I was so excited, the first week, I lost 11 pounds!!! Then, got horrible acid reflux and was put on Reglan, still following the plan but gained 3 pounds. I cried. But, I am going to continue on the journey and tell the surgeon on Thursday and maybe she will switch the meds (hopefully it's just the meds). It's such a bummer to work so hard, get excited to get on that scale and not only did I not lose, I gained!!!! So, you are way ahead of me , my friend <3 Keep up the great work!

i was sleeved on june 11th. 9 days out i had lost 16 lbs. i will get weighed again thursday and see what i have lost. but i started "full liquids" yesterday, so we will see if eating pureed foods makes a difference. i'm not feeling any lighter or really seeing any changes in myself yet. it will be 2 weeks tomorrow.
