Lightweights in the house! Any more people with less to lose/less BMI's?

So I'm considered a lightweight....yea....thats me LOL! At 32 BMI I'm technically lightweight. I have been at 35 BMI for the last several years or so and have actually managed to lose a bit on a low carb/high protein/mod fat/low cal/sugar free (paleo/primal) lifestyle, but am as usual having a very hard time keeping it off consistantly. It keeps creeping up.

Was just wondering if there were anymore people on here with about 100lbs or less to lose, or otherwise considered lightweight comparatively. Any who've had the procedure? If you've had the procedure, how much have you been losing? What's your progress, and how're you feeling about the procedure so far?

Thought I'd make a thread for us that have less to lose than the SMB or even the MB people on here. So we can share our experiences and just chill.

B)

BTW, thought I'd add. Everyone is welcome! All sizes! All opinions are valued here! ;)

You will be in great hands! 8 weeks post op down 21lbs at a stall for last 10 days or so.

Happy Birthday to me! Have Sleeved day to you! Blessings!!!

Just checking in on the lightweight thread - my original personal goal was 120. I met that goal and have continued to lose weight. I know I say this quite often - I am SO HAPPY I had this surgery before I gained more weight. It has been relatively easy for me after the surgery. I had surgery on 9/10/12 - and I imagine that I will be 115 by my one year surgery date. I still have no hunger and still can't eat very much. I can definitely eat more than I could a few months ago but because my cravings and tastes have changed I am not tempted as much anymore. However, I still have a sweet tooth - last week I was in a meeting and they had desserts. I did get one but I was only able to eat half of it. It was so sweet that after the first few bites I could only taste sugar so it wasn't very appetizing. Good luck to us all for continued success

I'm 5 '2 1/2 and flucuate between 223lbs and 227lbs based on the scale Im using..I know for me to be out of the over weight category I have to weigh 131lbs. Which I weighed my senior year in high school. I remember thinking how fat I was at my prom at 135lbs..lolol Only to look back now and see a slim beautiful girl in the pictures! I have 2 little girls 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 and hope that this surgery will help me to pass on a good body image to them. My mom was very overweight and always dieting so I guess that bad body image was passed on to me. I also have PCOS so I am anticipating a SLOW weight loss, but as long as it comes off, I am in no rush. I was happy with myself at 170lbs so hopefully I will be feeling "normal" again soon!! Still waiting on Insurance approval hopefully by tomorrow!!!

I could have written this. (Except for the kids part). I'm 5'2 and I stayed at 230 forever. I have pcos. I was 125 at prom (thought I was fat).

I 230 day of approval and gained 11 while waiting. So surgery day 241. I thought based on the pcos and history of slow losing I wouldn't see what others saw. I'm 8 days post op and down 14! I know my 2-3 week stall is coming and I'm ok with it. But thought I would share. Good luck!

Iam so happy I made this decision. Just got a call for my PCP this morning saying that my Trigylerides are HIGH... Im falling apart as we speak. This surgery couldnt be coming at abetter time!!

Starting BMI of 35 with high cholesterol (250) and severe sleep apnea. Two months out today and 30 pounds down. I am NOW flirting with a BMI in the 20's. I couldn't be happier that I did this! :D

I'm 5'3 and started at 196 day of surgery. My highest weight was 216. Sleeved 12/10/12. I am down at 141 pounds now and have 10 more to go. Started really slowing down the last month or so with the loss but I expected it. If I never drop another pound I am still thrilled with my results. I work out very hard daily and am now a size 7' date=' I was a 16 prior to surgery.[/quote']

Hi ! I am un a very similar situation: i am 5'4" and am around 240, i am starting my pre-op diet this monday for two weeks and my surgery is on august 5th. I was wondering, do you have a lot of extra skin ? I am 24 and everyone at the clinic (nurse, family doctor, surgeon an nut) keep telling me i have the perfect age (and not too big) so i should not worry about it...but i still do lol...

Also, when you say you work every hard everyday, what do you mean by that ? Do you exercise super hard daily ? I have a very busy schedule, being a dmd student, and so i am very aware that i will not have time to spend days in the gym...

I am asking you this just for comparison...to see if i will lose a similar amount with my lifestyle...

Thanks in advance :)
