    I am also 55 and was sleeved on the 28th. I had a BMI of 31 and am doing GREAT!! I went to Mexico and have had a good experience. I am on full liquids now and am having no problems drinking. Am down 12lbs

    I am having surgery on the 28th with Dr. Garcia. Staying at the Marriot until Sept. 1. A friend and I are having surgery the same day, hope to see you around.

    I am so glad to find this thread!! I thought I was alone. I also have a low BMI of 30 but have EVERY co morbidity. I am scheduled for Aug. 28 in mexico with Dr. Garcia. I am sooo wxcited but also a little nervous.

    Hi Chickadee, I should see you in the halls You will be able to recognize me I'll be the one very jetlagged. I live on a military base overseas and the trip takes 2 days and 12 hrs. of flying.
