Lightweights in the house! Any more people with less to lose/less BMI's?

So I'm considered a lightweight....yea....thats me LOL! At 32 BMI I'm technically lightweight. I have been at 35 BMI for the last several years or so and have actually managed to lose a bit on a low carb/high protein/mod fat/low cal/sugar free (paleo/primal) lifestyle, but am as usual having a very hard time keeping it off consistantly. It keeps creeping up.

Was just wondering if there were anymore people on here with about 100lbs or less to lose, or otherwise considered lightweight comparatively. Any who've had the procedure? If you've had the procedure, how much have you been losing? What's your progress, and how're you feeling about the procedure so far?

Thought I'd make a thread for us that have less to lose than the SMB or even the MB people on here. So we can share our experiences and just chill.

B)

BTW, thought I'd add. Everyone is welcome! All sizes! All opinions are valued here! ;)

You sound exactly like me. I am going for my 4th visit next week. Then 2 more months,,,yay!!! This is all I think about. I dream about it. Lol...isn't that crazy? We gotta pray about it and let God take care of it. He knows we need this....it's gonna happen. Take it one day at a time!!!

me too I have 2 more months left. well which should be 1 more cause there is a date that I went that wasnt sent over to the surgeons office. but I go for my 4th tomorrow. I have dreamed about it! lol I see every one else getting thiers done and I think one day I hope and pray that will be me. In the mean time I know God is going to bless me. He will bless you too.....So nice to know someone else in my shoes

So I lost 15 pounds since my first appointment till now. I'm now 215 and I get sleeved Friday. Some folks still think I'm nuts since I'm loosing weight before such drastic measures. I've NEVER HAD PROBLEMS LOOSING WEIGHT. It's KEEPING IT OFF... that's the problem! :/

8 mons post op & couldn't be feeling AND looking better. So glad for my sleeve.

So glad I found this thread. Yes fat is fat! We all need acceptance and support on this journey to greater health. My surgery is a few days before yours so we will be in a similar boat. Will be nice to have buddies to go through this with!!!

That is soooo me!

5ft 10in 209 pounds as of this morning. Was 229 when starting the liquid diet. BMI is 32/33 I believe. Surgery the 24th. Nervously excited! Surgery Wed and back to work Mon. No choice, but I'm staying positive about my recovery.

I have a high BMI but a lot of your BMI is calculated based on your height. I'm 5 foot even and I'm 229 and big boned that puts me at a 45 BMI. I really hate how they haven't changed it to match how someone is built. It says that my healthy weight is 115 and I'm fearful that I would look very sick considering I'm big boned and have quite a bit of muscle. :)

In regards to your question I to am curious if ill be a slow loser. I pray I'm not!!

Hi! I'm the same build... I have been active and called "big boned" all my life.. I am 5'4 245 lbs and I'm scared and nervous I'll have loose skin.. But I also think being big boned will help... Please let me know my surgery date is August 6th! :-D

Thank you for the input!
