multiple sticks for fills?

Recommended Posts

Jack's experience is about normal as I read. The nevious types like myself will allways worrie. Its a shame that we waste out time, but if we keep learning what to expect then when we are getting our fill we will understand what is going on. Had I not been informed about what to expect I would not have been so impressed by the success of my fill. Their are so many stories, the needle is nothing. I have caused myself more pain trimming my fingernails too short.

Dems... It's OK. this is such an amazing learning process.....We all have more questions as we go along. I will tell you I practically made myself sick in the waiting room waiting for THAT NEEDLE for my first fill, and the it was NOTHING! A tiny pin prick and then NO pain during that fishing around for the port. Now that I've had the first fill, I'm learning all sorts of new things and have a whole new list of questions. It's just part of the learning curve. Honest.

Thanks for the compassion. I always get myself worked up over the littlest things and then it's usually not as bad as I thought. What's a few needle pokes? I suppose I need to listen to everyone's circumstances and the good and the bad and remind myself not every situation is the same. I'll take my questions to my Dr. and perhaps some of my concerns might not pertain to me.

I need to remind myself why I'm going through with this........

My health, my family and myself.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
