I just moved to purees. I was only able to take in 260 calories yesterday.

I drank 1 Isopure and could only get 1-2 ounces of scrambled eggs and later 1-2 ounces of tuna in. Doesn't feel right to get that low. Is that safe? My NUT said my calories would drop when I started purees, but it seems low.

total was

carb-4

protien-52

calories-264

Fiber-2

Should I add in drinking one of my naked or bolthouse Protein drinks. I could add 200 and get 16 more Proteins. I just need to find the time.

It took me about 3-4hours to drink the Isopure and seriously with the waiting before and after and the slow eating both the eggs and tuna take up about 1.5 hours each. The rest of the time I am full or drinking Water.

Also...exercise has turned into me pacing around my living room. It was leisurely walks out side but this happened:post-56987-1381366527806_thumb.jpg

Did I post this wrong? Just curious why no one responded.

Maybe people are tired of vsg. Less comments nowadays. But don't worry about ur intake. Eat enough to keep yourself from being lethargic. Your eating will increase.... believe me.

I think that as long as you are getting in all your liquids and Protein right now is the important thing, I was taking a low amount of calories too at that stage. As you are able to eat more it will go up, I'm only taking in 500-550 cal a day, I could up it but I get so busy through the day I don't have time to keep eating. Good luck to you.

Hi! Take your Vitamins and stay hydrated-- can u add yogurt cottage cheese apple sauce? Watch the carbs in the juice drinks -- they cause me cravings-- also try salmon packets and silk lite unsweetened soy milk-- it's sweet and yummy! Good luck! Your doing great it takes time! I'm a lil over 2 months!

I'm almost 3 weeks out and can barely get in 300 calories my Dr recommends 800 at this stage. I can't for the life of me figure out how in the world I am supposed to accomplish that!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
