What I can eat at Subway 4 months out

I do eat at Subway on occasion. Please, no wet noodle. Anyway, I noticed that many pre-ops and new post-ops want to know what your restriction is at certain stages of the journey. Of course, everyone is different, so don't take this as written in stone for everyone. For lunch today:

3 inch turkey breast & ham sub w/ spinach, tomato, pickle, banana peppers, onion, green pepper, sweet onion sauce, regular mayo (just a little bit), salt and pepper

&

1 bag baked ruffles sour cream and cheddar

I did eat the whole 1 oz bag of chips but could only get down about 2/3 of the sandwich. I had them cut a 6 inch in half. Now I have lunch for tomorrow as well.

I am now stuffed- pre-op I wasn't stuffed until I downed a 12 inch.

I hope that gives some of you an idea of how restriction can be at 4 months post-op.

Oh' date=' I absolutely do now that you've brought it up! I love Subway. It's a party in my mouth when y'all add all the peppers. :D[/quote']

Lets just say, I would stay away from the chicken salad if I were you..... Muahahaha!!!

How does the flatbread weigh up? Thumbs up or down (carbs)?

The flatbread is 220 calories. Exactly the same as 6" Parmesan Oregano. That's just the bread.

A 6" would probably be 3 or 4 meals for me lol

I work at subway (part time while attending school) and I find myself tempted..I try to stick with 3" on flatbread. I had the BBQ last night..about 1.5"

just had it for lunch.. roasted chicken and got about 2 inches down. is it real chicken? I chewed and chewed and chewed and it didn't break down like regular chicken. next time I will do roast beef.

Thanks lipdticklady for the ups on the scoop sandwich at subway ima try it

All the meat is pressed and kind of icky if you think about it. That said' date=' this fatty isn't too particular. OBVIOUSLY.[/quote']

I have my surgery on May 2 keep me in prayer and how can we keep in contact since your advanced u can give me some great tips :-)

3 inch steak eggwhite and cheese on flatbread. Loaded with veggies less than 200 cal

Oh I forgot to say yesterday I was kidding about working at subway.. Me? work?? Nope :P

Oh well I do wonder about the quality of the meat though., why can't meat at least be meat when you get fast food ?
