  1. I'm Ashley! I'm a 29 yr old, married mother of 2. I'm a nursing student working on my BSN. I was sleeved on 12/12/12 & have lost 115 pounds. I've been stuck at the same weight for a few months...ugh!
  2. I've lost 115 pounds. My husband seems more jealous now. But I guess that's normal lol! My friends love the new me. I'm more energetic and I have so much confidence. I don't care to tell anybody how I lost weight. I've had people tell me that surgery is cheating. I always reply " If 4 weeks of liquids and 3 months of baby food is cheating...then I guess so" I've been stuck at 180 pounds. I'm 5'9" and I have a large frame. I'd like to be around 150. 100 pounds was easy to lose but this last 30 is a pain!
  3. I was sleeved 12/12/12 and on 10/16/13 I went to my surgeon because of abdominal pain. Turns out I developed a hiatal hernia. He pushed on it and said he "popped it back in place"...the pain is gone now.
  4. Maybe I just get drunk easily? But I can "feel" half a glass of wine! 1 shot gets me goin and 3 shots and I'm gone lol
  5. No hangover....never really had one lol
  6. I am in nursing school and a mother of two...so I'm on free state insurance. Tenncare. It paid for my surgery (all but $1600) and now I have skin...it's not horrible but it's messing with me psychologically. My arms are really bad. My breasts are realllllly bad (breastfeeding didn't help) and my stomach is sort of bad. I would be at my goal size if I had the skin removed. Does anyone know if insurance covers any skin removal? A friend of mine had breasts that were different sizes and her insurance paid for implants! I would love a lift with silicon implants. I also have different size breasts. One is a B and one a C. It's been that way size the age of 8! I hate it!!! It's impossible finding a bra
  7. That's my fav pizza!! Love the sauce!
  8. I'm not a pizza person but if it's thin crust ...about 1 slice. I could probably do more but I'm terrified of stretching my stomach
  9. I rarely drink. I live near a moonshine store and recently on girls night out, we sampled the shine. I was VERY buzzed!!! I've noticed I can drink very little and get pretty drunk...but then I sober up very very fast. I'm usually sober by the time my girlfriends are getting buzzed. Does the alcohol hit your bloodstream faster??? I thought it only did this to gastric bypass people
  10. Hope this one isn't sideways! Lol! My face is a lot slimmer...love it! I love being in the 100s
  11. Sleeved 12/12/12...down 105 pounds
  12. He's a man..they don't think about things before they say them lol
  13. Wow!!! You are so lucky to still have a butt!!! Mine is flat and saggy!!!
  14. I do have a little saggy skin problem...main areas are under my chin, thighs and arms. Luckily my stomach has done amazing
  15. Thanks!!! I still have 50 pounds to go!!
  16. Ate lots of protein** Also, if you have kids...try not to buy them "junk" food...I get too tempted when it's around the house. I've slacked off the gym this month but when my semester is finished at school, I'll be going back like I used to. I do only about 10-30 of cardio and strength training afterwards. Muscle is what speeds up the metabolism. I am 5'9" and heaviest was 295...now I'm 193.
  17. I lost 30 Pre-op and the rest after my surgery. I've slowed down to about 10 pounds per month...but if I stick to my diet...I lose around 5-6 pounds per week. I didn't eat bread and eats lots of protein...salads etc. now I find myself snacking more or eating too many carbs. My weakness is Starbucks double shot energy drink..210 calories!
