I know veteran sleevers who measure everything and don't go over 5-6 oz at each meal, but they do several small meals. Personally I am 3 weeks out and can only do 2 oz.

Did you mean to type 15 ounces? This seems way to much food. I eat 4-6 ounces depending what it is and am 6.75 months out.

I dunno maybe it's less than I think. I don't measure though I eat till I feel full. Then I wait at least 30 mins before drinking.

My current plan (1 month out) is three meals of 4 ounces - Protein only. At the three month mark I can add 1 half cup serving of vegetables per day. So, 12 oz. a day now, 16 oz. in a couple of months.

Volume-wize, I eat about 3/4 - 1 cup of food in a sitting. I still tend to think "volume" in general, although I do like to weigh the meat. chicken seems to be around 3 ounces, fish is about 5 ounces. I just cannot eat steak though. As for vegetables, they just fill me up. Well, actually, after eating the Protein, I don't seem to have much room for veggies. Like lettuce, I *love* lettuce.. now I can only have a couple of pieces and have to stop so that I have room for the protein.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
