Fitbit vs Bodybugg vs Bodymedia vs Jawbone Up

I am so torn about which fitness tracker to get! There are so many conflicting reviews. I keep finding myself drawn to the Fitbit Flex but how much longer do we have to wait for this thing to be released. I want something now and their website just says it will be released "Spring 2013." Does anybody have any insight? I thought I knew what I wanted but now that I've been really researching it, I'm more confused that ever! =)

Now is the flea the one that's available now or is that the one that's coming out?

The flex comes out on May 1st thru Amazon. You can pre order it now if you'd like tho

I went ahead and got the bodymedia fit link today. I need the help now and dont want to wait until the middle of May.

O cool, hope it works good for you!

I have a polar watch since I take Zumba and want to know my calories burned during my work outs. The Fitbit only really measures steps and sleep. Does the bodybugg measure calories burned on all exercises or just steps?

It measures on all activity not just steps

Cool. Then maybe I'll get one. Although I am pretty much covered on the calories front. I don't really care about steps too much.

Ya because of my job and lifestyle I don't get much if any exercise in a day heck some days I do less than a 1000 steps so I needed something that focuses more on what my body is burning in a day ...since everyone is different I didn't want something that just followed a formula.

On the days I work I burn about 2200 calories in 24 hours...the days I'm home I burn 3000 or more just doing everyday life things not exercise....the other trackers don't work that way

Soo i finally decided to pre order the fitbit flex and now amazon isn't taking anymore pre orders. Ughh

I know! How frustrating! Although honestly the FitBit One looks alright too, easier to hide on your body, then having to wear a bracelet all the time. But I think I'll wait until the Flex comes out anyway..

I have a Polar FT4, and I love it. I only wear it when I workout though. It seems to be very accurate.

Interestingly, Jawbone just bought BodyMedia today. I wonder what that will end up meaning for their respective devices?
