Fitbit vs Bodybugg vs Bodymedia vs Jawbone Up

I am so torn about which fitness tracker to get! There are so many conflicting reviews. I keep finding myself drawn to the Fitbit Flex but how much longer do we have to wait for this thing to be released. I want something now and their website just says it will be released "Spring 2013." Does anybody have any insight? I thought I knew what I wanted but now that I've been really researching it, I'm more confused that ever! =)

Do you were it all day? Or just to work out?

I usually where mine all day, however i give myself an hour or two each day without it just to make sure it doesn't irritate my skin or anything.

With the Bodybugg and/or Body Media, do you still have to pay a monthly (or annual) fee to sync your data to their website? To me, that's the big turn-off from the past.

Amazon dot com says the Fitbit flex (the bracelet one, right?) will be released on May 1... I have already pre-ordered mine!

Looks like they changed it to May 15, according to Amazon today. (3/31)

The only reason i haven't pre ordered mine is because its not compatible with me phone only with phones that have Bluetooth 4.0 which are iPhones 4s and newer or Samsung III or Note II

And.. My Samsung Galaxy Reverb with Virgin Mobile has BT 4.0. :)

It only had those two listed on the fitbit website as compatible phones for the flex. So I'd check if it works with it.

I have the up. My husband got it at work. He works for AT&T. It's not all that if you ask me. It irritates me that it doesn't sync with mfp.

It's 6.95 a month no contract anymore so you can cancel if you don't use it for a month or so and restart without any extra fee..they have one that works with a watch, which has a clip on the back so you can wear it anyplace. I have the one that works with the app and since the latest update works great and you can sync to the website from the app you don't have to plug in to upload.

I have to say the fitbit flex looks pretty cool and the fact it's waterproof and no monthly fee and works with MFP, hmmm I'm gonna check it out a bit more I might switch from my bug

Now is the flea the one that's available now or is that the one that's coming out?

Ok I did some reading, hard to find reviews on the flex, you would think when they unveiled it at the tech show they would have given some out to fitness mags to use and review.

But the main difference I'm seeing is the fitbit estimates your calories burn and you only get credit for movement.

Bodybugg has sensors that contact your skin to monitor the temp of your body along with other things so it's tracking your body function not just if you moving or still.

Example -I drive truck, with any type of pedometer device it counts steps when I am driving and sleeping because it registers the bouncing of my body so not accurate but even though my bug records steps the same way if I sit and pedal it also measures how warm my body gets as to the level of activity I'm burning.

Sorry this was long I like the look of the flex and the no fee just not sure if it would work for me have to wait for reviews for you guys lol!
