why did I eat that pecan roll?

Recommended Posts

Last night before I went to bed, I told myself today was going to be a new day and I was going to start out by getting back on track. Woke up this morning and ate a pecan roll. REALLY??? I had my surgery on September 12 and I have been pretty much the same weight the last three months because I keep eating crap I shouldn't. Ugh. I'm down about 64 lbs. Starting weight was 325.

Try putting on your old clothes or look at old photos of yourself. You can find your motivation again! You can do this!! Get that crap out of your house. It's too tempting. Or say ok I can eat that after I have my Protein and most likely you won't want it.

Hey Sleeveshelly, I had my surgery on September 10 two days before you. Now I am sure that you got 85% of your stomach removed to be successful and reach your goal weight. That pecan roll will NOT help you get there. As the other poster said, get that crap out of your house, go back to eating low carb/high Protein, track your intake and drink your Water. As time goes on you will be able to eat more and it WILL be harder to lose the weight. Don't you want to be a success now? I know that you can do this, you have already lost some weight, great job, but you have a way to go. Trust me when you reach your goal weight you will be able to have a pecan roll, just not everyday. Positive vibes I am sending your way, tomorrow is a new day, seize it by the horns and get a grip on your eating, you can do this!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
