Hello everyone' date=' I'm 35y/o single with no kids. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2000, Sciatica 2006, Fibromyalgia 2009, and Sleep Apnea 2011. I have been researching and thinking very hard about getting bariatrics surgery. I'm currently at my heaviest, 255 lbs, and now my bp is elevated. I would love to have kid(s) one day SOON, but not with all these health issues. I just need some guidance with this. My doctors tell me to lose weight, but having PCOS is a challenge.[/quote']

This surgery is definately a new way of life! I had mine april 10 and lost almost 30 lbs

Congrats! I'm preop so can't help you with that.. I'm hoping to be sleeved in August!

I'm so glad you asked this! I'm up in Shreveport and scheduled to have surgery next Monday. I've almost been mourning not being able to eat crawfish again this season and now I see that I may get to eat them again this year after all!! I'll take only eating a few just as long as I get to eat them again :) Good luck in your recovery! I can't wait to be there with you!

I'm in the S'port area too...Who is your dr?
