I must be a slow loser but I haven't done any workouts of any kind... so 10 pounds... for the first month doesn't seem good at all. Any advice would be appreciated thanks dears. And I totally forgot about me one week check up to add that so down 18pounds and 20 on pree op diet.. fun fun.

Goal by my 32nd bday 9/17/13: 220

Goal for 1/1/14 : 200

Totally achievable, you're doing great!!!

5 to my surgeons goal. I am thinking I have anywhere from 40-70 until my final goal. I plan to play it by ear and see where I am most comfortable.

My biggest piece of advice is to listen to your body. It took a few months for me to stop eating once i felt satisfied. Early out' date=' I would eat to clear my measured amount or until I was uncomfortable. Now I stop at the first hint of fullness.

I make sure to eat lots of protein but I don't treat this as a diet. If I want something bad enough I will allow for it. I really love my sleeve because I can have 1-2 bites and be over the cravings. From time to time I will notice bad habits creeping back and I zap them quickly. Whenever my weight loss starts to slow or i feel like i am slacking i will cut back to the basics of protein and low carb.

The plan I've been following is 800-1000 calories, 60+ protein and under 70 carbs. I was on a stricter plan but my nut changed things after a few months since I had already lost a lot.

I also think it's important not to compare yourself to anyone else. I remember being so frustrated that I was behind everyone else. After the crazy beginning loss, I've been averaging anywhere from 1 to 3 pounds a week, about 11-12 a month. It doesn't seem like a lot but time is on our side, it's added up to huge numbers.[/quote']

Everything u said was wonderful advise thank you

I am so excited, life is great. Only downside, my beautiful hair is leaving me.

I have learned to cook more and share with friends and coworkers.

Who ever said we took the easy way out ,should be given a two week vs trial.

All of you are so inspiring.......

It great to see everyone's progress. All the losses are aamazing. My scale moves like a tire with a slow leak. I have no big loss to report but the inches have been good. I'll post cuz I'm thrilled

Neck from a 17 to 15

Shoulder 56 to 51

I haven't posted here in a while but thought I'd share an update.

Sleeved - Feb 13th

Pre-surgery weight - 311

Surgery weight - 294

Today - 219.6

Total weight lost is about 92 pounds.

Honestly I pretty much eat what I want but I ALWAYS eat protein throughout the day and eat it first. Dairy doesn't settle to well with me but I can tolerate it in small amounts.

220 was my goal and I reached it yesterday. My next goal is 200 and I think I'd really be happy there.

Here's a pic of me from about 3 weeks ago. Again, I've lost 92 pounds in a little over 5 months.
