November sleevers! How your weight loss?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! I was sleeved Nov 20th and I just was wondering if everyone was still losing pretty steady or is it slowing down? I have lost 58 lbs so far and knock on wood I have only have one real stall. How much are you guys losing per week or per month? I am happy with my weigh loss so far, but I cant help but wonder how I measure up to others from this time frame (and yes I know im not supposed ti compare myself to others but I cant help myself). How close are you to goal?

I was sleeved November 27th. I needed to lose 80 pounds. I am halfway there. I also had a long stall. Once it broke, the pounds have come off again. I don't know how many I'm losing a week because I tend to go a couple of weeks at the same weight, and then go down 3-5 pounds.

Been pretty amazing so far! Had a great recovery. There isnt anything that I cant eat everything goes down fine. I dont deprive myself of carbs or any food because I am fairly active and I want to maintain my weight not do another crash low carb diet. I am 90% good all the time. Take in between 800-1000 cals a day. I feel great :)

Hi I was sleeved November 16th. At my largest I weighed 334 lbs. The day of surgery I weighed 312 lbs and as of today I weigh 259 lbs. Last weekend my husband and I had went away for the weekend and I got to see myself in a full size mirror ( I don't have one at home ). It upset me so bad because I could not understand why I still looked like that after dropping so much weight. To make a long story short I decided to find some old pictures of me that my mom took before surgery. I compared the picture of myself to the person I was seeing in the mirror and holy crap I couldn't believe it. It really made me change my mind about how far I have come. Here are the pictures.....the one in the green shirt I was 334 and the one in the purple I was 267 ( I have lost 8 more lbs this week :) ) Getting sleeved is the best thing I have ever done for myself. It is so nice to be able to walk around the mall without feeling like I'm going to die or to be able to run up and down my stairs and not be in pain. I am one happy lady right now as cant wait to see what else I have to look forward to.

You look amazing. It's something the image we still have in our minds about ourselves. It's the same for me. I sometimes feel huge. And have to remember where I started from.

Hey November sleeve buddies! I have been LOVING my sleeve so much, my sleeve honestly gave me my life back. I guess it's funny how I didn't even realize how depressed I was until I started feeling happy again! I was sleeved November 19th 2012. My highest weight was 296. Today, march 10th, 2013 I weighed in at 203!

I have lost a total of 93 pounds in a little less than 4 months. I never imagined I would be successful at weight loss at all, let alone this successful! The true marker of this journey has been everything I've gained...my confidence, better relationships with my friends and boyfriend, a healthy and active way of life.

I never could imagine that ONE decision could change my life so much. I almost cried at my follow up appointment a few weeks ago when I was trying to tell my surgeon (and respected coworker) how much he has changed my life....

He's still continuing to push for me to meet all of my goals...including him currently advocating to have me specialize in operating room nursing and be there beside him during surgeries!

Congratulations to everyone for your OUTSTANDING successes, continuing hard work and dedication! ????❤????????????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
