I am three months out (today) and for some reason, there is still some discoloration/hyperpigmentation over one of my VSG scars. Not a bruise, persay, but a circle of darker skin around the scar.

Has anyone experienced this?

It's not painful, tender, just discolored.

Yes I have a few like that and then I have one you can barely see... I wish they all healed like that one:p

I am very fair skinned, pale is my middle name, I could star in twilight no problem so I figured it was just me.

Mine have this discoloration around them as well... This happened to me 2 years ago when I had my gallbladder out as well... It eventually went away! I don't even remember how long it took but one day I looked and it wasnt there anymore! LoL

I noticed that around one of my incisions..I thought maybe the trocar was a bit tight on that one, just guessing though, it is very different looking from the others for sure. I'm 10 days out and it's starting to look a little better...
