Hey all:

Well just got the news that I won't be able to be scheduled until Febuary.

So good luck to you all, and take care.

How are we all doing??

So far these are my stats day 4 post op:

Breakfast: 1 cup gano mocha coffee with one cup silk soymilk

Lunch:4 oz. Dannon Activa yogurt

40 ounces crystal light

The 4 oz. of yogurt was enough to make me take that deep sigh and have to sit up straight and take a deep breath.

As of today, I have a lot of restriction.

I have missed you! I am doing very well and feeling really good this 4th day of post op!! I am also using this time to as a fasting and praying time, so I am doing double duty!!!!!

As for today, I feel a lot of restriction. Two bites of cream Soup was too much for me!!! Breakfast was just coffee and soymilk.

How are you doing?

Audree - sounds like you are doing great! Wow, two bits and you are full. I don't think that has EVER happened to me. lol.

I'm just so busy at work these days, hardly any time to get on LBT. sucks!

Great that you are doing a fast & prayer - I plan on doing some mediation myself. And for sure some personal bible study.

Hope everyone is doing okay. I have now updated the January Bandsters list, and I will keep a master copy in my word file and will only update it once per week. Its really hard to keep this think updated, we have just grown rapidly and getting a lot of new members, but hey, the more the merrier!

Well, gotta run...........I have a sleep study test tonight, looking forward to having a bed all to my self. :notagree

Wow, that is an impressive list of people with shrunken livers. It seems like more and more people are going for this lap band thing. There must be something to it. I'm going to be clipped in a week. 1/16. Getting a bit nervous. I sure hope it goes as easy on me as it has on Audree.

Tonya, I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes with your sleep study.

How could I leave off my lab band twin date? I will edit my list above, and add you on. Thanks for telling me!

Hi all,:)

I just got home around noon today. My surgery was yesterday at 7:30 am. Thank God all went extremely well. I was walking around by 11:00 am. :) I think it had a lot to do with the anesthesiologist. I told him that I have a bad reaction with anesthesia, it makes me dizzy and vomit. I also told him about the gas problems everyone had mentioned and he said he could take care of it and he did. No dizziness, no vomiting and no gas problems.:clap2:

I am on a liquid diet this week :hungry: and a puree diet next week I will keep you all informed.

So glad your doing well. I will make sure I tell my anesthesiologist about my past problems (the gass pain with my gall bladder was horrible).

I am up Friday too and we are supposed to have a snow storm here tonight and tomorrow and then stay really cold for awhile. I am scared that the surgeon won't be able to get in or the anesthesiologist. I am sure the necessary surgerys will get priority over the elective ones. This is a complete rollercoaster, waiting. I really hope I get it done.

Oh Boy, I hope you get to get in. I'll be thinking of you - take care! Let us know if your surgery gets cancelled. Hopefully by Friday everything will be okay. :)

Thanks. I will be on Clear Liquids the day before and nothing after midnight. I will be just thrilled to have it pushed out however long it will take them to re-schedule me to do the clear liquids all over again.

Oh man!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
