Laying down in bed one night, 8 months ago, I decided right then and there, that the Lap Band wasn't working for me and it was time to take my life into my own hands. I'm going to be healthy, I'm going to be around for my children, I'm going to be happy with my weight for once in my life!!

And now!!!! It's happening!! It's almost here!! I can barely stand it!!

I can feel my nerves going up and back down again.

But I am ready! Words of encouragement and advice needed still though!

having surgery March 4th!! Its the sleeve but its the Gastric Plication! has anyone had this? I know its new but it seems so right for me!!

yes but compared to the other surgeries this was AFFORDABLE!! lol! just hope it works!! Dr"s have been telling me that it has the same results as sleeve and its a form of sleeve.... we will see!!

March 4th for me too. I'm looking foward to this new chapter of life.

I had all my pre admissions done today and paid in full. Now nothing to do but wait.

I have a boat load of nervous energy, but after I paid my co-insurance today it snapped me back into reality. OUCH!

I'm extremely excited. I've been getting everything together and started packing. I'm a planner so I don't want to forget anything!

My preop stuff is Wednesday. I'm sure once I pay for it it'll be a slap in the face!! Right now I'm stoked!!
