  1. We go to the same gym!! My next gym day is Monday... Going to the 5am spin and 6am body pump classes!!
  2. I am 10 months out. For puréed I did a lot chicken salad/canned chicken, egg salad, and cheeses. Chili is also a good option. I think I did taco meat as well. Let me know if you have anymore questions!!
  3. It took me a while to be able to get all my protein in when I started adding real food into the mix. Just don't over do it and try to eat too much at one time to get your protein in.
  4. You will start losing. It takes time. Just go one day at a time. Get your protein and water in and go from there
  5. I wouldn't go as far as emotional outbursts. You are changing, physically and emotionally. You have to learn to face your emotions, ALL your emotions, and no longer cover them up with food. Have you tried talking to a close friend or even a therapist?? I went to a couple counseling sessions and they honestly helped.
  6. I had my surgery with Dr. Atkinson on march 4, 2013. Down 125 pounds!! If you have any questions feel free to ask!!
  7. Awesome!! I'm stoked for you!! I love my sleeve! This is my first holiday EVER that I haven't gained weight. It's an amazing feeling!!
  8. Good luck!! You'll have to keep us updated!!!
  9. Of course!! I am down 124 pounds. I was 368 the day of surgery and down to 244!! I feel amazing. Surgery was 3/4/13 with Atkinson!
  10. You should have gotten a packet of what is okay to eat with examples during each stage of the post op. Let me know and I can pull my stuff out.
  11. I work out several days a week. I'm a distance swimmer and am getting that back. I also play soccer once a week. As for food I just try to eat healthy. When I snack I try to drink Protein shakes. I don't get enough Water in so I am working on that as well. If you want more specifics let me know! I'd love to help you out!!!
  12. Here's my update! Yesterday was 8 months. SW 368.6 CW 250.6 I feel amazing! My goal is to lose half. 118 of 184 down. 66 pounds left!! Woohoo!!
  13. I honestly don't have a whole lot of excess yet. My arms look awful in my opinion. They hang down and I can pinch the excess. I have a little in my thighs and stomach. I still have almost 70 pounds left to lose so I'm sure it'll be an issue later on. Lotion is key. They also suggest you stay out of the sun. I'm stoked you have a date! What an awesome Christmas present for you!! Who is your surgeon? I have no problem posting my story if it will help others!! If you have an questions feel free to ask!!!
  14. Hey!! I'm doing well! My weight loss has slowed a bit, but I'm coming back from an injury so I'm not working out as hard. I definitely see better results when I eat clean (crazy how that works)!! I weigh on Mondays and Thursdays... So as of Thursday in down 115 pounds. I want to lose a total of 184, which will put me at half my surgery weight. 69 pounds to go! My surgery was 3/4/13. How are you doing???
  15. That's very nice of you!! Lol Too bad my birthday isn't until August!!
  16. I love the attitude of "looking forward!" I'm 7 months out and would kill to fast forward another 6 months to see where I am!! Just don't forget to live in the now too!!!
  17. I seem to reach orgasm more quickly. I'm sure some of it is mental and feeling better, and more confident, in myself. However, since the weight loss, some spots are much more easily accessible... Which helps a lot!!
  18. They either chicken out or always pick truth! Haha.
  19. You are right at my goal weight and look fabulous!!
  20. I'm 5'7" and started at 368.6. I had surgery March 4, 2013. When I weighed in on Monday (7 months out) I'm down 110 pounds and 87.75" total!!
  21. I went to a support group meeting last week and my doctor said this regarding BMIs. A person at the lower range of "normal" is no more or less healthy than someone sitting at the higher range of "normal." Everyone carries their weight differently, which is why there is a range in numbers and not a specific goal weight for everyone. Get to a size/weight that makes you happy. . Good luck!!!
  22. Start saving for your plastic surgery now!! That's what I'm doing!! Gotta stay one step ahead of the game!!
  23. Oh, here are my current stats! Sleeved 3/4/13, starting weight 368.4, current weight 264.0
