Lo2us, might better call em. Wouldn't hurt. They may cut you back to mushies or liquids for a day or two. My band has never been as tight as yours, even with 4 fills. I guess mine is just going to be difficult. This works for nearly everyone, I think I may falling into the other category. I will talk to Dr. K about it when I see her on the 10th. Take care. I wanted this to go smoother for you. Look at that ticker go! I may not even recognize you at the next meeting! How's little Gus doing? Anymore successes on the potty?

Shannon, it wouldn't hurt to call. You know this is a holiday weekend. But, you are right, it's nice to see all those smaller sizes! Way to go!

Teresa, that's the one I got. I don't have to open mine and it hasn't gotten stuck. You know what size they are. I think they go down like something going down the drain. lol They flip up on one end and slip thru the stoma.

Sharon, hang in there. I hope today is better. Give it to God, he will comfort. He tells us that. If you need to talk, you know where to go, k?

Fine Glo, thanks for asking. I don't take my biotin with a meal. I take them in the morning when I take my BP meds. (that I hope to be off of really, really soon.)

I also went to GNC this morning and got some papaya enzyme. I ate one just to see how it tasted. Not all that bad. I got the 90 tab bottle. (I don't wanna have to take them very often. lol) for 2.99. Cheap enough, I reckon.

Shannon, I think the over all vote is to call the office, so...... what are you waiting for? Let us know what they say, k?

Sorry if this posts twice. Something is goofed up

Lisa, I bought me some papaya enyzmes tablets (chewable), too. I haven't had a problem yet (except for the time that "boiled egg" just sat on my chest). :) and I guess I was so afraid I forgot to use them. Do you think the 1000mg of Biotin will be enough? My hair is not thinning or anything, but it still won't hurt to use it. I'll have beautiful nails and hair. LOL

LO2us, how are you feeling?

Glo, I guess it will be. I don't know what the RDA is on it. I don't think the FDA has one either. I was using the 1000mcg before. I just ran out and bought my first bottle or 5000mcg because Wally world didn't have the other. It's water soluble, so you absorb what you need and the rest goes out with the water. Know what I mean? lol

Yall have a good holiday weekend.

well here's another sad sack susan saga____

my broke toe was much better today and the kids were coming so i got up early and started cooking for the kids and then decided i needed to go clean the bird poop off the patio chairs and table because we all like to sit out on the patio and visit when they come so i grab my brush and soap and hit the back door WELL____ the dew had the porch wet and slppery so when i went out the door my feet flew out from under me and i fell on my butt and that didn't even hurt but i left leg was all twisted and my knee was hurting so now my knee is about 2x bigger than it should be and hurts if i move. my ins is a major med with a 5000 dec. and i don't go to the dr. unless i dying so to sum it all up i hurt my leg but my toe is better!!! at least i 45 lbs llighter or it could have been twist ever worse.

Susan.....Susan.....Susannnnnnnnnnnnnn. What in the world are we going to do with you????? Ice-packing should get some of that swelling out, hope you did a lot of that to begin with. Of course with company comming you probably didn't have too much time for propping up your leg either? I hope it's better and you are able to enjoy your weekend with your family. Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day weekend.

Susan, I'm not even going to comment on that one. I'll tell you one just about as bad. I fell off the porch just before I got my band and stabbed a pc of underpinning up into my armpit. Don't that make for a pretty picture in your mind.

Hope you feel better soon. If you need anything, I'm just a phone call away.

i had to go to walmart and drag my sore knee through the store to replenish groceries after having to days of company my kids on sat and nephew and dh bro and wife and nephews family (they were unexpected) so needless to say i had to had stuff for the week and also i wanted to see how the knee would hold up 'cause i can't decide about work tomorrow don't think i can work all day 'cause the knee swells up about the size of a small melon when i am on it. but anyhow now to the neat part of the trip i saw 3 patients and one cousin that all commented on the weight i had lost YAY a NSV!!!1

Good morning everyone! Are ya'll saying that my hair might get thinned out, therefore I should take biotin? I'm not big on taking pills of anykind.

Can't stand the smell of vitamins.

Yay, Susan! Made you feel better, didn't it?

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

It seems that stress has a lot to do with the restriction of your band. Or it does mine. I have had a lot going on this past two weeks and I have had major restriction. I can't eat more than 2 or three bites at a time without having problems. Glad I got some of the papaya enzyme. THANKS Shannon! Mushies seem to go down pretty well, but solid food is another story. So, I'm either at my sweet spot or just nearly there. I know one thing......yall don't get stressed out. lol

Well, this starts another week. Our first football game is Saturday. Valiant OK, if anyone is interested (Genia) Second week of school. Things are looking bright this year. T really likes his teacher, so that is good news.

lo2us, how do you feel this morning? Did you call the office? I haven't been on this weekend, but I thought about you. Hope things are better for you today.

Yall have a good day, k?

Julie, some people's hair does thin. Sometimes, it's from the anesthesia, sometimes it's from your diet. Sometimes, it's just stress!!! The docs aren't kidding about the protein intake. You have to get at least that much (40 to 60 grams) daily. Mine has thinned and it's from all the above reasons, but I still have a lot of hair. My genetics are another reason for my thin hair. But..... there are a variety of ways to get protein. There are the little vials that are sold on the noscales site, protein drinks, and the Protienex that is sold at the pharmacies. So, don't fret.... you can do this. You just have to adjust your lifestyle to include these things if you can't get enought in your diet. See..... problem solved. lol

I'm doing okay. I struggled slightly yesterday. I'm going to wait until the end of this week and see if my band gets any looser since it was the and of week 3 after the 1st fill that I was able to eat again. I'm only taking in 2 or 3 bites at a time too. liquids are going down more easily the past couple of days. If I'm still frustraited at the end of this week, I will call on Friday.

My hair is not really falling out, it's just broke off. I had a haircut this weekend to remedey it. I learned that since I have naturally kinky/curly, very dry hair, that I may have been hurting it by washing it so much. My hairdresser told me to wet it and condition it every night, but only shampoo 2 times a week. I can tell a HUGE difference from trying this a few days! Remind me to tell y'all about my new size 6 jeans tomorrow. It's a hoot!

Good morning all,

Glad to hear Lo2us that you are doing a little better. Take care of yourself and I want to hear about the size 6 jeans. It is such a distant dream for me right now, but I'm going to be just like you when I grow up. LOL

Julie, my hair is not thinning, but I'm just doing preventive care and I know that it won't hurt me, I'll have beautiful nails and hopefully my hair won't thin.

Hippmom, I hope that you are feeling better today. Hope the dark cloud has lifted.:rain: LOL, it's bound to be sunshine soon.

Morning, Lisa and Sugarbear. :bounce:
