Susan, you know what box I'm talking about!!!! Don't play that with me. lol

Julie... if you think about it, BBQ has lots of fat in it. Therefore, I really should have not eaten it. But... I was hungry for it, so. bread is a big no, no for me. I just can't swallow it, which is fine with me. I don't need it anyway. I do miss hamburgers, but it's ok, I am losing and it doesn't matter.

Gotta git, yall have a good day!

hey sugar bear i need to confess something. i'm only 26lbs from my goal that i set for myself i'm sure dr h and k would not agree that it is a good goal i think my bmi will still be around

27-28 but this a goal i felt i could reach i will be below 200 for the first time since 1974 (the year i got married i think i was at 180) this goal is a tad shy of that but heck i'm an old lady so 195 sounds great to me. oh and i am 5'9" so i think i can carry that much weight and not look to fat. i should be in a size 16 or maybe 14 at that goal!!!

Susan, I am with you all the way. It is wonderful to reach a goal. Who knows what will happen next? DH says he will bring me to the meeting. My surgeon called and rescheduled my apt for Thurs. to Tues. POOEY! We also have to go to T town on Wed. So that will be three days in a row going to Texarkana.

Betty are you back?

Take care everyone.

thanks sugarbear! The cowboys are playing and I was sure hoping to get home and watch it. But of course, I would miss them for the support meeting. Especially my first one. See you there.

Teresa, you probably won't miss too much of the game. Starts at 8 right? You will know who I am, the one with the purple cast. I won't be hard for anyone to spot. LOL The only reason I wouldn't be there is if DH got off to late to get me there.

GRRRREAT Julie! Gosh, I guess you have to start the slimefast immediately! Like yesterday?! Stick to it, it will be worth it and it is for your saftey. Shrinks the liver. I am assuming the meeting will still be at Wadley, at 7:00 p.m. It hasn't been posted yet on noscales.com For you newbies, that site is where Dr. H post the seminar dates and support group meetings. Texarkana is always the second Monday of the month. Other info is also posted there.

Yes, I started the Slimefest, yesterday afternoon. I am so excited!!

I've been going back thru the threads and have read about how everyone made it thru. Ya'll had a really great support group going on. Still do. I have learned a lot. This is really going to a life changing event, for the rest of my life. But I'm looking forward to it.

This Monday is a govt. holiday so I wondered if they would still have their meeting?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
