Any one who has NOT lost hair?

I've read a lot about those of you have lost hair, but I was wondering if there is anyone who has not lost hair? Or is it just impossible? Thanks!

I haven't lost any hair. Just a little over 3 months post op. maybe it will come later?

I think everyone is going to lose some hair to differing degrees. I started losing at the 6 month mark and it stopped at 9 months. 12 months out, you would have never known I had lost any hair. I was great with my Protein intake and took all my Vitamins, including Biotin. My calories were over 1,200 a day, protein and carbs well over 100g per day. Should have had everything covered.

I just think it is one of those things that happens to most WLS people. Why? Don't know for sure, but I do know that fat holds a lot of hormones and hair folicles are sensitive to hormone balance. Ask any woman who has been pregnant how their hair was.

I started losing hair around 3 months' date=' and 6 months out I'm still losing.[/quote']

Almost the same story here.

I had a total hysterectomy in Aug 2012 and then the sleeve in Nov 2012. I should be losing hair from my first surgery but as of yet, there hasn't been any noticeable loss. I started taking my bariatric vitamins BEFORE my surgeries so I could get used to them. I also use Aveda's Invati serum daily on my scalp to help prevent hair loss. So far, so good.

I started losinf at 3 months. I'm at 5 months now and it seems to be less and less. Or at least thats the way it seems when I'm cleaning it out of the drain. When I started losing the hair, I increased my protein. I usually get between 8o and 100 grams per day now.

I had surgery September 26 and haven't noticed any hair loss yet, knock on wood.

Almost the same story here.

It's kind of gross when the hair runs down my body in the shower, ick. Hopefully it slows down soon, fortunately I have long thick hair so it's not noticeable.

OTR then I got a lady for you!! My neighbor!

( do you mind that she's 94?)

18-80 , blind, crippled, or crazy. I don't discriminate ;)

I am 5 months post-op and no hair loss as of yet. I'm really good with staying on top of my protein and vitamins though. It might happen later for me .

8 months out and thankfully the loss is slowing not that there is much left

I'm at 2 months post op and though I was losing fistfuls of hair before, I am loosing a lot less now
