You look great! I was in a almost 4 week stall and it finally broke ! Yeah I was so happy I cried! I'm 2 months out down 32 since surgery 51 total! My husband heard me get on the scale this morning & he said he said to himself please let her have a loss! ( I know I've been really bitchy when the scale didn't move) when he didn't hear anything he came in the room and said well? I held up 4 fingers then cried! It's a great day today! Even if it is going to be cold ad heck tomorrow!

Yay Kathy! So glad your stall broke and you had a big loss this week. You are back on track and are doing great!

Cold as heck = more time to craft :-) that's what I'll be doing all day tomorrow.

It's only been 10 weeks. You can see a big difference. In another 10 weeks there will be an even bigger difference. And honestly, 10 weeks is not a big time span for weight loss. After I had surgery all I could think about was.....this time next year I'll be a whole different person (on the outside anyway). Well it's only been 8 months but yeah, everything is different. There is going to come a day very soon when you will catch a glimpse of your reflection in a window and have to stop and see who it is....cause you won't recognize yourself.

Thanks again all. I feel great. Just don't like seeing myself in bra and underwear! Not sure if that'll change when I'm smaller, I've never been very confident in my own skin. Guess that happens when you've been far since age 10! Time will tell but for now I am ecstatic with my progress.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
