cramps during period seem worse!

Recommended Posts

Yes! Two weeks ago I was in tears they were so bad. Normally they are mild enough I can do something and forfet about them. I thought my insides were ripping apart. It sucked. I hope next time around they r less intense because the childrens tylenol (what I was told was the only pain reliever I was allowed ) isnt even worth the nasty taste

Ugh that's horrible! I'm sorry!

Par for the course for me. I had surgery to remove uterine polyps in April. Apparently polyps and fibroids (not to mention many other disorders) are more common in obese women. Yet another reason this surgery was a good thing for me!

I'm hoping that as time goes on the cramps will subside

My intestines have been more sensitive since surgery, I have frequent intestinal cramping, sometimes with diarrhea, but not always. Maybe your cramps are a combo of uterus and intestine?

I have to agree that my cramps are definitely worse. Prior to surgery I didn't have much cramping during my periods but this month I thought I was going crazy, like I ate something I shouldn't have. I thought it was just me.

Does anyone else notice a crazy heavy flow? Terrible cramps oh I can't take anything for any type of pain so for 2 weeks I suffer. Also anybody else get anemic during? I never did before but now I do everytime. I can't take oral Iron so it's IV infusion everytime :/

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
