Today is 5 months out. Pre surgery was 272, surgery was 264, todayis 209. I do really good during the week with water and vitaimns and food, bu the weekends I really find it hard. I am now walking, and that is making all the difference. The weight has really been coming off the last month. This is a life change that I was so happy to make. Congratulstions to all of us. Quit selling yourself short when someone says you look great. You could snack all day on terrible food, but you choose not to. Yes the sleeve is a great tool, but essentually YOU are the hand that drives it. Give yourself some well deserved credit! Rock On......

Today is my birthday. I had a goal to reach 100 lbs lost by today. I am sitting at 87 lbs lost. :( I am sad that I didn't reach this mark, but I know I will sometime in the near future. My life has changed so much in the last 5.5 months. I am so grateful for my sleeve and all the encouragement and support my sleeve family has given me.

You are doing fantastic! My birthday was the 25th of April. I missed my goal by 1 lb, but today I made it! I was a week out, so who cares. You have had a huge weight loss. I was on a lull for the last couple of months only losing maybe a pound a week. Then I started walking to get ready for a 5k and was losing a half a pound a day. My body was finally catching up. My hair loss has slowed waaaayyy down, thank goodness for that too. I am patting myself on the back, and you should do the same. Keep you eye on the prize. You look great. :)

Congrats to the November sleevers AWSOME JOB !

I was Nov 20 and I'm down 71 lbs ... starting 278 and now 207 . I went on a cruise last week and got off my plan , but I worked out everyday . Struggling this week to get back to healthy habits ... I still want to lose 50 lbs ....

Good morning November sleevers. Just a quick check-in for me. Highest weight 300 lbs. Surgery weight 289 (11/15/12). Current weight 206.4! That's a total of 93.6 pounds GONE forever! I am so close to the 100 weight loss mark, and just as close to being in the one hundred's in weight. Hoping to hit that mark in the next week or two. Feeling great and loving my new life!!!

Surgery date 11/20/2012

Just wanted to give an update, I saw the doctor for my 6 month post op appointment. I am at exactly 100 lbs lost. I do not have to take any medicine for diabetes anymore. I no longer take medicine for high blood pressure and I am getting tested next week to rid myself of the bi-pap machine. I haven't even been able to sleep with it, cause I feel like it forces too much air in my belly. I also test at normal range for my thyroid, so no more medicine there either. I feel great! I do however feel very hungry around my cycle time and feel like I graze a bit, need to get that under control.
