I was sleeved on 9/19. I've lost 70 so far and have about 110 more to go. The holidays didn't help much, but I'm getting back on track. Fingers crossed!!!

The holidays didn't help me either. My Dr said that it was very normal. I started watching what I have been eating and have already lost 3 lbs in 2 days. Hopefully it will continue. Surgery weight 325, today 270. Down 55 lbs, sleeved 9-12. I'm 5'5

Wow thats great!!! What was your starting weight and your height? Oh ams how is your hair loss?? Im 5'4 amd start weight the day od surgery was 231 lbs.

I was 366 starting weight, so I still have A LOT to lose still... and I"m 5'5.My ahir loss has been fine.. I was aheavy shedder before surgery and have started to shed a little more than before, but I have a lot of hair so for me it hasn't been noticable.

Surgery date 9/10/12. I am 5'2". Starting weight 255, current weight 205. Starting the new year out down 50 pounds feels great. No hair loss yet (praying).

We have the same stats & I'll be sleeved this Tuesday 1/8. What's your secret?? I'd love to hear your exercise & eating plan. What great results you've had --- I'm inspired!

Thank you :)

I don't really do anything special. I just track everything that I eat in my fitness pal. I try to stay under 800 cals a day and under 40 carbs and get 60 Proteins in a day. I stay away from shakes because they don't taste good to me. I eat 6 times a day every 3-4 hours. I eat Breakfast, lunch and dinner, then have a morning, afternoon and evening small snack. I cook a lot of meals. I use a lot of chicken and beef and stay way from rice, Pasta and bread. A favorite go to of mine are won ton wrappers, you can put anything you like in them, bake them in a muffin tin in the oven and they are healthy perfect size portions. I work out about 2 times a week, but it is doing a boxing/kickboxing class at a pro boxing gym so I burn around 800-1000 cals when I do that so no more than twice a week of that for me. To be honest, I rarely hit my Protein daily, am always under 800 cals and never get in 64 ounces of Water... I try but its so hard for me. I haven't had issues with anything, I had a very easy recovery and no complications other than I had to be put on a water pill for water retention. I will be 4 months out on the 14th and as of today am down 84 pounds. I have only had 2 stalls, the first one was for 3 weeks (week 3-6) and the 2nd one was a week and it was around the start of the 3rd month. Other than that I've been consistent in my losing. I know since we have a higher starting weight that we will lose a lot more than others in the start. I stay away from sweets, and like I said I track everything I put into my mouth even if its just a bite of something! I probably over track, but that has been key for me. Do you have facebook? I love finding people with stats around mine :) Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!!

Surgery date Sept 10th, weight prior to preop 345 and with preop 335. Down to 275 now! Woohoo!

i had my surgery on sept 25. i started at 237 and im down to 186!!! i too have a hard time getting all my protein in. i still drink eas protein shakes for breakfast during the week on the way to work but i still dont seem to get it all in. i got a treadmill for christmas so i walk on it for 30 min everyday. i dont want to have alot of excess skin, i should work out more but i dont :(

I am experiencing major hair loss and really freaking out. I'm down 65 lbs. surgery date was 9/13/12. Trying to find some info on here about other people having the same issue.

Sept 17. Gaining wait, doesnt know the reason. Im not the best tracker, but i dont eat lot of carbs, or anything out of the book. Went from 277 to 224, and gain 5 pounds last week. Soooo fustrating. :(

Surgery was 9-7. Down 20 pounds before surgery and 50 pounds since. My hair is everywhere. I've been taking Biotin since before surgery, and using biotin shampoo and conditioner, but it doesn't seem to have helped yet. I'm confident that it will grow back at some point!

I have exact same stats, and surgery date...i weigh 224 now, and 277 day of! I was so nervous i was failing, but i think we are in the same boat!

8/23 first surgery and late sept was the second (I don't know the date...I was pretty sick) but I'm down almost 47lbs. My starting weight is also kinky cuz first surgery date it was 170 then went up 40lbs LOL so I used the last weigh in at hospital which was 182... I'm 4' 12" :) I have a lot of plateau's but no issues with my skin or hair so I'll be fine with slow losses (in comparison to others) for now. My scale is currently teasing me with the 141's...moving .1 lbs or so every few days LOL I just want to be 130something before I head to hollywood on the 24th (which I know in hollywood is severely obese, but what the heck...I'll like me LOL)
