Sleeved 12/3. Starting weight 224. Surgery weight 206. Now at 184' date=' so down 22 pounds in 6 weeks. Doesn't compare to what others have lost in a shorter period but I am trying to focus on not just the scale but how my clothes feel, etc. surgery day BMI was 37.[/quote']

I was sleeved 12/5. As of today I've lost 22 lbs, too. We're neck and neck! LOL

Surgery 12/28.... Down 20 lbs, now stalled. I was pretty frustrated since I lost that weight in the 1st 10 days, and nothing since! But at least it's 20 lbs less!

I'm stalled too after that initial. :( At least we're not alone. I was sleeved 12/31 and stalled now :(

I was sleeve on 12/17 and I'm down 34 lbs. I weighted 252 and today I weight 218. I have been walking everyday and going to Curves 4 times a week. I record everything I eat and the hardest thing is getting all my water in.

Look for my post titled Good info / Good articles. It has tips for reducing belly fat. Good luck!

Right on. THANK YOU!!!!!

Sleeved 12/18/2012 - down 46 pounds

How have you done it!?!?!?! I've only lost 19 lbs and 39 inches?

Has anyone GAINED weight during their stall :S ?!

Kaylee I have gained and lost the same three pounds for three weeks! Now I'm back down to 207.6, but I realize it has been my food choices, lack of protein, and not getting all my fluids in. Today I only drank protein shakes. I know it's not a long term solution, but for right now I feel I have to go back to basics.

Are you talking 1 or 2 lbs or 10? I bounced up and down by 2 lbs for several days. But if you've gained a lot, call your doctor.

yes i was up and down for over a week with 230-232 i am now 228 it will move again

i was told to not use a straw but i really miss my straws!!!! how far out are you? wondering if i will eventually be able to use a straw

My doc never said anything against straws... so I've used them since I got home from the hospital... I am almost 6 weeks out...

I think that's my problem too, I haven't been taking in as much protein as I need to, I eat poorly and try to justify it cause I'm eating "less", and I definitely do NOT get in enough fluids... lately I'd be lucky to get a whole bottle of water down. More used to chugging a drink a few times a day than sipping all day. Same thing with food! Ive had the surgery but now I need to make the life change too! I think I will go back to the shakes tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!

No it's only a few pounds, it bounces up and down over the same 4 or so. Glad to know that I'm not alone here!

Sleeved dec 27 now down 25lbs. And I also hit a stall early. So I went back to the basics. Broth and protein shakes. Lost 5 next time on the scale!

Sleeved on 12/3 and as of this morning, I'm down 66 pounds. I lost a big chunk of it early but then hit a stall for a week or so. Just be patient and don't lose faith, and you will come out of it and the weight will start coming off again!

Sleeved 12/27 and total weight lost is bouncing between 35-37 lbs. I have at least a week of gain a pound, lose two, gain a pound... Etc. since I'm barely eating 800 cals and mostly still survive on protein shakes and baby food, I'm guessing my body is just freaking out and will snap out of it soon. I'm not worried yet, although I do miss seeing a lower number on the scale every day. I took my measurements at the beginning of the month and I plan to take them again around valentine's day. That way, I have more than one way to measure my loss and won't worry about the scale as much.
